Frequently asked

What services does BellCo Restoration offer?
Residential and commercial pressure washing, house washing (soft wash), fence and deck staining and sealing, fence repair, paver and stone sealing, garage floor coatings, construction cleanup and gutter cleaning. If you're not sure which one your property needs, describe it and we'll tell you.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Salado and serve every town between Cedar Park and Waco, from Round Rock and Georgetown in the south to Temple, Killeen and Waco in the north. There's a full list on our service area page. If you're not sure whether you're in range, send your address with a quote request and we'll tell you straight.
Do you do commercial work?
Yes. Storefronts, parking areas, dumpster pads, apartment and HOA common areas, and post-construction cleanup for builders. Send the address and a few photos for a written scope and price.
Do you pressure wash or soft wash?
Both, chosen per surface: pressure washing for concrete and hard surfaces, low-pressure soft washing for siding, fences and anything that can't take high pressure.
Do you clean gutters and downspouts?
Yes. We clear the debris out of the gutters, flush the downspouts so water actually flows, and haul the mess away. It pairs well with a house wash since both are done from the outside in one visit.
Do you clean the fence before staining it?
Always. We wash off dirt, mildew and dead gray fibers, brighten where the wood needs it, and let it dry properly first. Stain over a dirty or damp surface peels and fades early.
How often does a wood fence need cleaning and staining?
In Central Texas, most fences want a wash every 1-2 years and a fresh penetrating stain every 2-4 years. Quick test: if water no longer beads on the surface, the sealer has worn out.
When is the best time to stain a fence in Texas?
Spring and fall are ideal: moderate temperatures, and wood that dries properly between washing and coating. Summer works if we watch the heat and rain windows; winter staining is possible but slower to cure. The one hard rule is that the wood has to be dry, because staining damp wood is how a finish fails early.
How much does fence staining cost in Central Texas?
The price is driven by linear feet, fence height, how gray or mildewed the wood is, access around the property, any repairs, and the stain and number of coats. Because those vary so much we quote from a written scope rather than a flat rate. The estimate is free, no-obligation, and spells out exactly what's included.
How long should I wait before sealing new pavers?
Fresh pavers need time to cure and shed surface salts before a sealer goes on, and sealing too early can trap moisture and leave a cloudy finish. We look at your pavers, tell you honestly whether they are ready, and clean and re-sand the joints before we seal.
Can you coat a garage floor that has oil stains or old cracks?
Usually, yes. Oil has to be treated and the concrete ground and prepped first, and cracks are filled before any coating goes down. Coatings fail from poor prep, not poor product, so prep is where most of the time goes.
What products do you use?
Professional-grade penetrating stains and sealers (for example Ready Seal, Seal-Once, Cabot or Sherwin-Williams SuperDeck) plus surface-safe cleaners, matched to your wood and the season.
